I have a problem. I keep buying e-ink devices.
Screens that don’t glow, don’t refresh sixty times a second and don’t pull me into a feed are the closest thing I’ve found to paper that still syncs. So the collection keeps growing.
What I have
| Device | What it is |
|---|---|
| Kindle Paperwhite | The one that started it. A small e-reader for books |
| Kindle Scribe | A big Kindle you can write on |
| reMarkable 2 | A 10.3" paper tablet, monochrome and distraction free |
| reMarkable Paper Pro | reMarkable’s bigger tablet, with a color e-ink screen and a front light |
| Supernote Manta | A 10.7" writing tablet from Ratta, with a battery-free pen |
| Boox Go 10.3 | A 10.3" e-ink tablet running Android, so any app works |
| Hisense A5 | An e-ink Android phone |
What’s next
The Supernote Nomad. It’s the 7.8" sibling of the Manta, small enough to carry everywhere.
I’m sure it will be the last one.
